Russell County Vo-Tech 1964-1971

The Russell Co. Vo-Tech was started in the fall of 1964 as a county-wide program. Automobile mechanics; masonry; drafting; electricity and cosmetology were made available to the four county high schools. With the beginning of the 1965-66 school year, general building trades and welding were added. Classes in nurses aide training were added in the 1966-67 school year. Eventually, academic instructors were added to the faculty at the vocational school.

Updated 1964-65 Class Photo

We have, through much help from the Russell County Vo-Tech Staff & Alumni, identified additional classmates in the 1964-65 Class Photo taken at the old Cleveland High School/1964-71 Russell County Vo-Tech. Below is an updated list of those that have already been identified or tentatively identified.
