Join us for our next Reunion Panning Committee meeting April 28, 2012
at Bonanza Restaurant at 10 AM.
We are trying to put the final touches
on the plans for our reunion and would love to have more input into
what we are doing.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.
The Russell Co. Vo-Tech was started in the fall of 1964 as a county-wide program. Automobile mechanics; masonry; drafting; electricity and cosmetology were made available to the four county high schools. With the beginning of the 1965-66 school year, general building trades and welding were added. Classes in nurses aide training were added in the 1966-67 school year. Eventually, academic instructors were added to the faculty at the vocational school.
